The RWS-411 series devices allow you to control electrical equipment over long distances. The use of modern LoRa radio transmission using a spread spectrum allows obtaining ranges from 1300m up to several tens of kilometres depending on the remote control mode and antenna used in the receiver. Such long ranges are unique feature allowing trouble-free remote control in conditions where the standard remote control systems have no chance to work correctly due to long distances and/or difficult conditions such as a high number of walls or other obstacles on the path of the radio signal, dense development, terrain shape etc.
It is ideal for control of equipment in distant buildings e.g. pumping stations, heat exchanger plants, or anywhere else where distances between the transmitter and receiver are long.
The receiver in the form of RWS-411 device has three independent voltage-free relay outputs with a load capacity of 16A each. It is installed in the vapour-tight enclosure (IP65) resistant to the weather conditions and therefore it can be used outside the buildings. The control can be implemented in standard switch on/off mode or in a time mode (user specified the time when the device will be switched off).
The transmitters, in the form of remote controls, are also installed in the vapour-tight enclosures (IP65), which additionally are reinforced to ensure a higher resistance to mechanical damages, so they are ideal also for harsh environmental conditions.
A great advantage of the system beyond the very long range of operation is also two-way communication allowing for feedback. Therefore, the remote control informs the user about the current status of the receiver’s relays and provides information on the power of feedback signal from the receiver to the remote control.
